Massage Eumundi.
Eumundi massage clients book here spans the village itself, the rural properties scattered around the surrounding hills, and visitors booking massage Eumundi markets weekends from nearby accommodation. The local alternative wellness scene means Kahuna sessions are particularly well understood here.
Massage in Eumundi.
Eumundi has a wellness culture that's distinct from anywhere else on the Sunshine Coast. The village holds an alternative, artisan, holistic-minded community where bodywork is part of how people look after themselves, not a once-a-year treat.
That shapes how the work gets booked here. Kahuna bodywork is the most-requested service in Eumundi, which is unusual: in most suburbs the remedial-Kahuna ratio runs about 80/20 in favour of remedial. In Eumundi it's closer to 50/50, sometimes tilted toward Kahuna. The locals understand the tradition, the lineage, and what the flowing Hawaiian work is actually for.
Remedial massage Eumundi clients book alongside Kahuna, particularly markets vendors and hospitality workers who need targeted work for the on-feet-all-day reality of running a stall or working in the cafes through the busy weekends. Some clients alternate, remedial one month, Kahuna the next.
About Eumundi.
Eumundi is a historic hinterland village best known for its twice-weekly markets, one of the biggest and longest-running markets in Australia. The town runs along the original heritage main street with a strong artisan, country-village character.
The Eumundi Markets run every Wednesday and Saturday along Memorial Drive, drawing tens of thousands of visitors across the week. The market reputation has shaped the village around it: cafes, galleries, the Berkelouw Books bookshop, vintage and homewares stores, and the live-music venues like Joe's Waterhole. The Imperial Hotel Eumundi anchors the heritage end of Memorial Drive, with the brewery and beer garden a long-standing local institution.
The wider Eumundi area extends into the surrounding hills and country properties, with farmhouses and small acreage holdings running back through Belli Park and toward Verrierdale and Doonan. Eumundi State School is one of the oldest in the region. The village sits a few minutes off the Bruce Highway, which keeps it accessible without disrupting the country-town feel.
All three core services available locally.
Remedial massage
Assessment-led work for pain, postural issues, and the on-feet-all-day complaints common in markets vendors and hospitality workers. Health fund rebatable. Booked alongside Kahuna by clients who want both.
More on remedialKahuna bodywork
Hawaiian-lineage flowing bodywork. The signature service for Eumundi locals who understand the tradition. Long, restorative, nervous-system-deep work. Most-requested service in this suburb. Not rebatable.

Mobile massage Eumundi residents book is the default for the rural properties (where the village clinic options are limited) and for visitors staying in country accommodation around the markets weekends.
More on mobileMobile to Eumundi.
12km west of Valdora through the Yandina-Eumundi back roads and into the village. Around 15 minutes most days. One of the shorter trips on my regular rotation.
Village and country properties.
Eumundi covers the village around Memorial Drive plus the surrounding rural pockets out toward Belli Park, Verrierdale, and the country roads connecting to Doonan and Cooran. Village addresses and rural properties all covered at the same rate within the postcode.
For markets-day bookings, mid-week or post-Saturday afternoon sessions work best, when both of us can move at a quieter pace.
Where I work in Eumundi.
Two options: mobile to your Eumundi village home or rural property (the default for most local bookings), or in-clinic at Valdora (a quick 15-minute drive east).
Mobile across Eumundi
Village homes along Memorial Drive and the side streets, country properties through the surrounding hills, holiday accommodation booked for the markets weekends, and the rural addresses out toward Belli Park and Verrierdale all covered. Mobile is particularly suited to Eumundi given the rural-property mix.
In-clinic at Valdora
92 Thomson Valley Road, Valdora. A 15-minute drive east of Eumundi through country roads. Quiet, off-grid, purpose-built treatment space. Off-street parking. A natural option for Eumundi clients who want a change of scenery from the village.
Eumundi health fund rebates.
Worth knowing for Eumundi clients specifically: only remedial sessions are health-fund-claimable, not Kahuna. Given the suburb's preference for Kahuna, this matters more here than elsewhere.
Most extras covers include remedial massage. Kahuna sessions, however popular in Eumundi, are not health-fund claimable.
I'm ANTA-registered with a Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015). Most private health funds (Bupa, Medibank, NIB, HCF, AHM, HBF and others) include remedial in their extras list. Rebates typically range from $40 to $90 per session depending on your fund. Some Eumundi clients alternate, booking remedial sessions through extras and self-funding the Kahuna sessions between them. Currently no HICAPS, payment upfront, receipt to your fund afterwards. Full rebate details.
Pricing for sessions.
Standard rates for clinic sessions at Valdora. Mobile to Eumundi adds $10 to $15 per session.
Mobile $135
Mobile $165
Mobile $180
Mobile $220
90 and 120 minute sessions are the most-booked lengths in Eumundi, suited to the deeper Kahuna work most clients prefer. Full pricing.
Eumundi FAQ.
Do you have a clinic in Eumundi?
No, there's no Eumundi massage studio in the village under my name. The clinic is at 92 Thomson Valley Road, Valdora, just 12km east of Eumundi via the Eumundi-Noosa Road. For Eumundi clients, both options work well: mobile sessions to homes through the village and the surrounding rural properties, and in-clinic visits which are barely a 15-minute drive east. The closeness means short-notice bookings are easier for Eumundi addresses than for most suburbs.
How much is the travel surcharge to Eumundi?
Eumundi sits 12km from my Valdora base, well within the standard 20km mobile zone. The mobile surcharge runs $10 to $15 on top of the session rate. The drive runs through some lovely hinterland country, which is part of why I look forward to Eumundi bookings. The exact surcharge is confirmed at booking based on your specific address, whether the village itself or one of the surrounding rural properties.
Can I claim my Eumundi session through my health fund?
Yes, when the session is remedial massage. I'm ANTA-registered (HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage), which most private health funds accept under their extras cover for remedial. Rebates typically run $40 to $90 per session depending on your fund and level of cover. Kahuna sessions are not rebatable, which is worth noting because Kahuna is the more-requested service in Eumundi given the local wellness scene. Currently no HICAPS, payment upfront, receipt to your fund afterwards. See the dedicated rebates page.
