The Ginger Factory sits on the southern edge of the village and remains one of the most-visited tourist attractions on the Sunshine Coast. Spirit House, the long-running Thai restaurant, is the other signature destination on the eastern side toward Ninderry.
Out from the village, the wider Yandina area runs through rural acreage properties, hobby farms, and country roads connecting to Wappa Falls and Wappa Dam to the north, and Ninderry and Mount Ninderry further east. The Yandina Markets run Saturday mornings as a smaller, more local version of the Eumundi scene. Yandina Creek and the North Maroochy River define the landscape around the village.
